lets see in cheyenne wyomning.

1.76 for 91 octane1.66 for 87 octaneand1.56 for the 85 octane piss that passes off for regular in the rocky mountain region.

still takes around 28$ to fill my truck up(20 gallon tank with 85 octane piss) at least my truck will run on 85 octane (the one advantage of living at 6000ft - you can run lower octane gas without pinging).

oh how i long for it to be early 2000 again. premium was .99 a gallon and regular was .79 a gallon

it would be nice to have good gas like europe and asia get.

heck with our gas tax structure it probably wouldn't cost much more than the crap we get now.

at least by 2004 the oil companies have to produce low sulfur diesel which is good since there are a bunch of new diesel cars/trucks coming out by then. they finally realized that putting a diesel engine in an SUV will dramatically improve their fuel econ without much performance loss since lots of low end torque is better in a truck anyway.

now we just need good gas like the rest of the world gets. our gas is worse than the gas in a lot of 3rd world countries

That's it, time to drill Alaska and bomb the middle east. J/k. However, it would help if people would stop buying suvs for no reason.

Just so soe of youall know, Saudi Arabia is sending over like 12 million barrels of oil over here to try and get the gas prices low. All of us hate these prices, but this is nothing compared to many places.

Here's something to think about that I learned in University this year:The U.S.A only gets 5% of it's oil from the middle east, as of 2001.

If you guys are looking for someone to blame, look in your own backyards!I've read so many articles, from Newsweek, to Hustler, and they all say the same thing. Us North Americans are just flat out getting screwed. Without going into details, the international price of oil doesn't change much over the course of a year, let alone over 1-2 weeks. It's the guys in the big offices downtown that are doing this, not Saddam. But Saddam is a moron too :D

iraq is not my complaint it is not their fault that gas is high, its the war... and Iraq only supplies 2 millon barels a day, also their is a strike going on in south america (i forget what country) and we get like 20 millon barrles a day usually from them so that explains why gas is so high, I was *****ing that war makes gas go up, not one phsycotic hitler wanna be...

Uhm - why r u beating on Madman Hussein for the rise in gas prices - it has nothing to do with him.

There is NO SHORTAGE of oil or fuel in the US of A - Saudi Arabia has also stepped UP production to ensure that there is no shortage as well.

All you are seeing is simple price gouging on the part of the Oil Companies AND the Government who make so many more millions of dollars a day out of it ;)

Madman Hussein is not to blame. In this instance anyway ;)

Uhm...in short nope!

We pay around $5 a gallon for fuel in Europe etc due to being taxed at something like 85 cents in the Dollar on fuel.

I'd stick with complaining about paying US$1.60-2.00 for "low grade" petrol/gasolene if I was you ;)
