you've successfully negated the main reason you SHOULD put overfenders on a car. the owner is now a ricer.
Overfenders to fit wider wheels, how is he a ricer? No, never mind dont bother retorting.

my point is that there is nothing to suggest that the original QPs were trimmed to make room for wider/lower offset wheels. basically the overfenders are a pen15 extension at that point because the original quarter panels are still in the way of fitting said wheels.

OP pleeeeease tell me you trimmed and re welded and sealed the stock quarter panels. if not...

You dont need to trim the OEM QPs to fit wider wheels under overfenders.

The reason most people trim the Qps is so they can fit the wider wheels lower and more sunken in the car. But there is no ill in not trimming the original QPs. Esp if the car is going to be sitting at DD ride heightsJust because he didnt do it how you would doesnt mean its wrong.

So im still asking how he became a ricer by not trimming his QPs considering the amount of work he has already put in.Furth considering this is something someone like you couldnt even dream of doing, Ricer? i dont think so.

Never mind dont bother retorting cuz ill most likely just to that response as well.

how is it not ricer to drive around in "daily driver" height when so much work like this has been done to the car...

i think that the quarter panels still should have been cut or at least banged up so that when the wheels go in they wont rub or cut up tires ... also the possibilities of running stretched tires will be feasible and should be considered for that "hella flush" look that we should all desire...

Fine i yield he is a ricer for making his car look badass while it "may" be a daily driver. I forgot that all cars with work in them that are daily drivers are rice rockets....silly me[/sarcasm]

Im not disagreeing with cutting the QPs, im simply saying that not cutting the QPs doesnt automatically equal ricer.

never mind, honestly seriously dont bother quoting me again, i dont care anymore, fuuking fishes, im done with this thread till the OP comes back with updates.

240gen gets worse and worse everyday.

Honestly while I have to tip my hat for all the bodywork and labor put into this car, just like any other front/rear converted car I see im going to smh. Its not going to look right when done as the shot of the rear alone looks like crap already. S15 conversions look like crap on any s chasis to begin with, so im not gonna be a hype 240 fanboi on this one. im not gonna front you're doing some real good body work though!

I couldn't agree more, New members Join and start argument after argument based on what they've read and have no first hand knowledge of.

The major reason why I never post anymore, There's always a no0b quick to say, 'you're doing it wrong" or "You're gay cause you didn't.." because they read about someone doing it a different way.I know, I know, Freedom of speech this, Freedom of speech that, But there are Boundaries. Sometimes it gets to the point where it seems like you're ordering the other person to do it the way YOU want.

Any who.

OP: Great progress, Its always nice seeing someone do something out of the box. I sure hope there isn't a stock drive train in it.I am also curious as to the Tab that this conversion is gonna rack up. Care to share the price?

*Note* My above rant was in no way targeted at anyone, I really don't feel like arguing (Nor will I waste my time doing so) over the internet because someone wants to be a E-Thug.
