i bought my 95 SE already "modded" by a ricer...theres so much red i just wanna get rid of it...is anyone sellin the whole dash setup? i'm talkin...

Gauge enclosure (i donno wut to call it, behind teh steeringwheel)

vents on the doors

A/C vent connectors inside door jamb

piece that goes around the AC controls

Piece that goes around radio

center piece (around shifter, Ebrake that big piece)

Glove box

if not selling, anyone know how much it'll cost to replace all this?

there is way too much red spray paint for me to sand/paint all of this over properly

try the buy/sell/trade forum, there's almost always someone parting out a 240 there, check back a couple pages too, never know what you'll find there :P

Just a slight F.Y.I.,

S14 dash assemblies are actually expensive at most salvage yards, at least from what I have seen. This is because when they are in a front impact collision in which the airbags are deployed, 99% of the time the passenger bag tears the dash when it deploys. Last one I bought ran me $300 WITHOUT the airbags....

Why dont you take them out and paint them black again?

Ah, my confusion...

The vents and what not should not run you much money at all...

If you pull everything at the same time, and drop a pile of interior parts at the counter guy, I'd say under $50 easy.

sweet.

i dont wanna paint them over the red cuz i know the paint will crack...

my initial idea was to sand them smooth and do a primer/base coat/clear coat job on it but that proved to be way too tedious and overall just not worth it.

Just soak them in paint thinner or finger nail polish remover... I don't think sanding them will get the results that you want...
