s13 - rb25 + 383 + boost = MATAfied's ride

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

like the passenger side header. do you have room for a sway bar with the crossover being down by the balancer. looks clean.

what size exhaust are you going to run off the turbo?

jegs and summit seam to make parts that are cheaper than the originals .

my bov only opens when i am at least close to 0 " vacuum at least that i can hear.

curious about bov opening when not under boost.i once saw a camaro with 2 gt45's rear mounted and the bov would open and close during the idle. seemed wrong but I am a noob.

yea i just put it on just to start it up, i am making some new one's, oh yea the sway bar is on, and it has plenty of room.

2 1/2 crossover pipe, to 3" Y to turbo and 3" downpipe

thats normal, some bov's are sinsitive and any vac at all can pull them open. I may not have a problem with that, i have very low vac on my motor.

nice size for the crossover , I used a 3 " , my turbo would probably spool a bit faster if I used the 2.5".

interesting about the bov. i had mine pulling vacuum from the little port on the carb throttle plate. 1/8 opening and there were two other things getting readings from it.

my new vacuum line set up has the blowoff opening when I rev it up in neutralnow. also a lot better repsonse when driving before I was getting compressorsurge and the flutter noise because it did not open enough.

Curiousity is getting to me on how to make that gauge cluster. Looks incredible. Also doing a small block swap myself. Keep up the good work, everything looks new and clean. lol Write up for the street sign cluster?

what are you going to do for a hood scoop? also a design issue with building the cold pipe from intercooler to the throttle body is what kind of scoop are you using and will it fit under it. just a little heads up if you have not crossed that bridge yet. looks good , I'm jealous ,wanted the fuel injection too but could not squeeze into my budget.

thanks,

it is still in the works, might touch it up a bit before I make the mold of it.plan on laying it up in carbon fiber. some imperfections that might be noticed once it is all glossy.

I figure if the mold is good and my glass and carbon work turns out nice I will make them in either fiberglass or carbon per request.few months from now realistically.

I am trying to find a better source for carbon fiber to lower cost.it would depend on materials , glass or carbon.

in a few months if you still want one we can work something outreasonable .

yea it will work, i did not remove the whole harness only the engine harness. their are only a couple of wire's you need to tap into to make it work for you. eccs and fuel pump, the ka lower harness will work minus the transmissinon speed sensor etc.

ha, how is that pan holding up? Have you had any problems with the 2 seperate sumps? Have you ever pulled the pan to check things out? How many miles have you put on the motor with this combo? Sorry for all the questions but if the pan I'm going to try and use wont work then I was looking to do the same as your pan. It will be way cheeper than the alternative but then you already know this.

Update!! Whew well it’s been a long time over due

I have been so busy working on everyone's vehicles but my own; I have done 2 rb25 swaps, 350 in to a jeep Cherokee and have been helping a friend with his ls1 in to the FD. Yes it is sick lol

I’m am going to try and update regularly now to lol

My car has been at my dad’s house rotting away in his garage, until I finally broke down and was able to purchases a Tig.

[/URL]

So here is where I’m at with the manifolds, it’s my own custom design so be gentle lol and keep in mind I’m not done. I still have a tone left to do and alot of cleaning.

Came across your build and looks like we have been bitten by the same bug. I have a built RB25 for my son and now I am working on my 355/TH350 build. I like the header work you've done, awesome. Heres a couple pics of my pan, pickup, etc. headers next on my list. The RB is a great engine with lots of power but I love the sound of a cammed up V8 with big stall converter behind it.
