I'm looking at buying this S13 near me next weekend. I saw it yesterday, and its in REALLY good shape- no rust except for a little bit near the spoiler, and the whole car is really really clean. The only two obvious problems the guy told me about is 1. the AC condenser is shot he says, and 2. the front windsheild is cracked a little bit.Do you guys have any experiences with replacing these parts? How much did it cost for parts/labor?

also, if anybody can give me any mre pointers on where to look for problems in a 92 hatch I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

windshield will be free, idk bout ac mines shot as well. rust is dangerous that should be your first priority as well as any leaks.

I was quoted 227 for a windshield- installed. Thats for an aftermarket one, which may or may not be of a lesser quality. For an OEM windshield, the price almost doubles- almost 450. Now, as to whether or not its worth getting the OEM, I dont know, but i would assume that as long as you get a warranty, you will be ok.

I think most states have a law that states that windshields are a zero deductible item, as long as you carry comprehesive and collision insurance.

true, but it's broken before I put my insurance on it (I dont even own it)... although I suppose I COULD just claim the thing broke right after I bought it and get it done for free....
