Greetings.

Would this front strut bar, and rear strut bar with batt tray also fit on a B13?

Thanx

Did you mean 9 NOV?

I was interested in these, too, until I read about the ABS issue. I'm not even an apprentice fabricator, nor do I have any welding equipment. Unfortunately for me, unless somone can master fabricate a new relocation bracket, I guess I be sol.

STB looks great, though!

Out of curiosity, did you consider constructing a trapezoidal bar arrangement that also mounts to the firewall?

Yep Nov. 9

We did think about making some that go across the engine bay --but there are soo many out there we wanted to make something unique. The ABS is a problem unless you have a welder. If I could get ahold of a couple brackets I could modify them for the ABS guys.

Hey I live in Tucson. and I travel up to flagstaff a lot... Next month (Dec) pretty much anytime I will be able to set you up w/ a s14 to fab on. Let me know what day or days are good. That is if you are still interested on making one for a s14.

Peace,Matt

I've been looking at the vq35de swap in s13 zer...ge=13and notice that there's no strut bar option for that setup since the intake is really close to the firewall. Would you think of fabricating something that might work, like going in front of the vq and maybe mounting to extra spots on the frame front for instance?

I looked at the picture for a bit--I think my bar would fit. Are you doing the motor mounts? I would definitely work with you to figure out a bar. Sounds like a cool project.

lol i just brought it up since i was thinking of getting this swap in the future. I don't think your bar will fit though. For me a stiff chassis's more important than big power. When the time comes I'll definitely love to work with you

17 Nov--I have 5 bars left in this run. Looks like I'll get to mock one up on a S14 chassis soon so I can make these for later cars.

Those look really nice. Greg doesn't back up lame products so they must be. If you need a S14 for mock up i'll volunteer. Mines got a carbon hood(Chargespeed) and a big turbo ka(t67). Greg knows how to get a hold of me. If he trusts you , so do I.

i've red throuhg the entire thread and i would definitly be excited to see the rear strut brace with the tray integrated, sounds neat.

so...if i were to purchase a strut bar and send an abs bracket your way, you could mod the bracket and then send both items back at the same time? what would you charge for the bracket transformation?

Jason,

Could you do a rear one for an S13 Hatch? I have a stereo system in the car, but don't have my sub and enclosure installed bc I have nothing sturdy to mount it to (nor do I feel like dropping the rear subframe to bolt it to the floorpan. I've thought of using a rear shock tower bar for awhile, but they've all been alum and won't cut it. Let me know if you could do one for the back. [email protected] I'll give you more details of what I'm shooting for via e-mail. Thanks man.

Should have the prototype by Jan--I'll do a run of ten or so. I would like to get the heat shield and the rearbar out first.

Since you make the big bars outof mild steel, just wondering if you would do one out of chromoly steel?

You got some great fab. skills so i am also wondering if you can fab. up an intake plenum for our car N/A and turbo?

I picked up one of rotorimp's braces and brake-shields for my S13. I'm running an Rb20 with the stock intake mani so there aren't many options out there for braces. I haven't bolted it up to the firewall yet but installation onto the strut towers took all of 10 minutes and the end result looks great! The heat shield was super easy too. Here are a few pics so you RB guys can see what's up.
