s13 erratic behavior

First off, thanks for the help. Car: 1991 240sx, manual, body-219,000 kade-@175,000

Problem: Ran out of gas a few weeks back, but started doing it the day before I ran out of gas. I was driving my car, it was fine. Then when I ran it through a few gears, hard, it seemed to be running on only 2 cylinders. Hard to rev, down on power, misses throughout the entire rev range, no matter throttle position. Have been driving it almost daily, 70+ miles a day, city and highway driving. It runs perfectly until I run it hard through a couple of gears, then it seems to be on 2 cylinders. Only quits whenever it cools down, like overnight. Oh yeah, one more symptom, it doesn't want to cut off. Turn the switch off and it tries to keep running for a couple of seconds. Any ideas?

I would check the throttle position sensor and run through the FSM for some help.

well, car finally settled down and ran on only three cylinders. played around with it and finally figured out my #3 injector went poop on me. replaced it with one i had sitting around, good as new.
