S13 engine swap

Ok i have a 1992 240sx coupe that had a s14 engine. Well im swapping the s14 engine for an 93 s13 engine. Also keep in mind my s13 was auto converted to manual. So what do i have to change so the s13 engine will work? is the harness from the s14 the same as the s13? Sorry pretty new to the 240 world, but learning.I know im gonna have to take out the s14 computer and put the s13 back on, but what else since there was an s14 engine in there?

the s14 electronics, harness, and ecu should stay together, as should the s13 electronics, harness, and ecu. the wiring for your 5spd swap is part of the lower harness and that harness should stay with your chassis. look at the swap info in the tech pages, it should have all the info you need.

Are you sure that the S14 engine is using S14 ECU/Harness? Normally anyone swapping a S14 engine into a S13 would use all S13 ECU/Harness/etc.

To tell you the truth i have no idea.I guess i have to wait and swap the engine and see if it turns on.How can i know about the ECU.Does it has a code saying if its either from a s14 or the s13?

easiest way to tell if your motor is running off of s13 harness is to look at what distributor your running. if the coil is built into the dizzy than its safe to say that they switched everything over. if your coil is mounted to the fender than its s13
