I recieved mine yesterday. This brace is one I've been looking to get for a while- I've had strut bars for years, and got fender braces a few years ago (those made a huge difference). I'm looking forward to seeing how much of a difference this will make on top of the other braces. I'll let you know when I've had a chance to install and test.Dano and lumberjack- What kind of paint did you guys use on your braces?

I just used krylon. Paint isn't all that important, most rattle can paints are generally the same, its the prep work that makes all the difference. I thought about clear coating mine, but I decided not to. The paint has held up remarkably well, the only spots missing paint are where Ive scuffed over rocks and stumps while getting a little to friendly with the ditch.

We hooked up the brace Sunday. With the condition of my stock bracket, it might have been easier to use a Nismo brace and replace the whole thing, but after using a hydraulic spreader and some tap-tap-taperoos, we were able to get the pieces in solidly. One note for anyone with a HICAS car- the holes for your steering hose bracket may not line up with those one this brace- Make sure you take a look before you start bolting up! It does not appear to be the same alignment. We ended up just zip-tying, which should be fine, but it doesn't quite have the perfect fit look anymore. I may go back later and figure out some way to modify and make it fit better, but for now, its fine.We took the car out after installation. Some quick lane changes and driving up driveways at angles confirms there is a slight difference on my car, which is pretty good, considering how heavily braced my car is already (strut bars, fender braces, recently repaired frame rail). I definitely give it 2 thumbs up

Sweet man you got it in! Sorry about the PITA to install...Being that the TC brackts are like the lowest part of the car somtimes they take a beating, and it does complacate the install. It awesome that you noticed a difference right away even how braced up your car is.

Take careJonnie

He doesn't check back on this thread often, mostly does on his thread on Zilvia.

Emailing him will get you the fastest response.

I just got mine a few days ago, and it rocks.

VERY VERY INTERESTED.

i read the write-up for s14 install, thought it was way hard to put in.

i was told just now that the s13 is much easier, like a LOT easier, as shown by the pictures in the first post.

Ian did an amazing write up on the S14 install...so much so I linked it to my site on the install portion. Yes the S13 is way easier to install...no holes to drill just bolt it up.

I don't remember if I posted on here after installing your brace Jonnie (it rocks by the way :D), but for everyone that is on the fence about buying these.

Buy them! It takes a lot of the body roll away, besides my turbocharger, this is the one of the mods that made the most positive difference in my car's behavior.

Just got mine installed, which was a piece of cake by the way. Quality craftsmanship by someone who obviously cares about the product he's putting out. Makes a world of difference. Too bad I blew my auto tranny while testing just how much of a difference the brace made.....lol
