Well boys and girls I am building front strut tower braces for both the S13 and S14 chassis.

They are a solid design, with no joints to flex. All end plates and gussets are laser cut.

I do have an integrated brake master cylinder stopper avalible for an extra $20.00.

FSTB for both the S13 and S14 are only $120.00 with out the BMC stopperFSTB with the BMC stopper is $140.00.

Feel free to ask any questions either here or e-mail me [email protected].

Honestly I have not tried an S14 with an RB. Here is a pic of the S14 bar with a KA.

OMG. These look awesome! Do they fit the s13 w rb25? I don't have the stock intake so no worries for clearance...

Also, how long will you be offering these?Nice job on em

I ussually make them to order, but it does not take me long.

As for the RB depending on your mounts it should fit fine, especialy if you are running an aftermarket manifold. It does not fit the S14 SR20det in the S13 chassis, that is the one that I am trying to overcome right now.

Do you know if it will clear an S14 SR in an S14? I have a CA18DET in an S14 and the clearance should be similar.

You might try to do it like this. This style of STB is one of the few that will clear a CA18DET in an S13.

Thanks for the input on the brace...unfortuneitly the tubing that I use is much bigger than the Nismo tubing, and there is just not enough room between the bar and the hood. I am working on a solution though.

Johnnie, totally dig the new brace. My 4pt. underbrace made it through a pretty substantial front in collision, didn't bend at all. Very well made, kept the front suspension in tact as well! If you ever have time, you should make a bolt-on (no strut bar needed) brake master cyl. brace for s14s. Wouldn't take that much, but nobody except Cusco makes one and they're hard to find, if you even can. Just an idea that would benefit you and the rest of the community

And a rear STB for the S14. Most of the ones out there suck. I like the NISMO style ones that go above the rear decklid.

What happened? I hope you were not hurt.

I will look into the stand alone BMC stopper. I have some cool new parts in mind...just need the time to work on R&D.

I am interested in one for an s14 with sr redtop. I have a top feed fuel rail that causes some clearance issues with other bars, do you know if this will clear?

I wasn't hurt bad, an elderly couple didn't look before pulling out on a rural road, and I hit them at ~40mph, nothing I could've done to avoid it. They admitted guilt, but car was totalled and I bought it back. It really looks like your brace and the strut bar worked together to keep the whole suspension in tact and even better in place. The bulk of the impact took place literally 1/2" above the frame, so it appears to have remained untouched. Sooo lucky. I'm just now starting to work on fixing it.

I'm very excited to see what other products your going to come out with, i've already got a Cusco front strut bar, so i'm not in the market for that right now, but the standalone brake master cyl. brace I think would be a big hit. I'll be sending you an email in regards to that soon!

And back to the topic, guys, Johnnie's stuff is great quality, don't hesitate to pick up his stuff, AND... I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you all to opt for the brake master cylinder brace upgrade, makes such a huge difference!

If I purchased this, and found that it wouldn't clear my chassis/motor combo, could I get a refund for the purchase price? (I'd pay shipping both ways) Either that, or could I get some measurements from the bottom of the hood to the top of the STB and the bottom of the STB over the intake manifold and turbo manifolds? (I have a top mount turbo as well).

Please send me a couple of pics of your set up. I have built one for the CA, wich no offence was based on the RB. Truly Jason's bar (Rotoimp) may be a better bet if he has any. If not I am sure we can work it out.
