Hi, I've read some threads about alignment spec for s13 lately and I am a bit confused by different answers.

My question is pretty simple and hopefully some s13 guru can help me out.

Does a s13 better to have more camber up front to reduce understeer, or more camber at the rear to gain grip at corner?...

Somesays s13 is better have to more camber up front, but some say RWD car should always have more camber at the back to gain more control.

I mainly use my car for DD and will see 1-2 Track days once in a while.I am learning to drift now but only mess around type instead of really in to it.

Hope you guys can give me some advise because I am about to do my alignment soon!

Thank you very much

i would say that you need a little more camber up front, the multilink rear vs. the McPherson strut front. the rear will have MUCH better camber gain under cornering, to offset that you should increase your camber up front.

i normally run -1.8 front -2 rear......but my car is pretty low(IMO im being modest, its slammed for around my area)

just remember to have your toe set to factory specs or 0, if not your tire wear will be pretty bad

I'd say put more negative camber where ever you want the most grip. If your style of driving is grip style, put more negative camber up front for more traction while cornering. If your style is drift, put more camber in the rear, which will create understeer but makes for bigger angle.

Here are some specs for grip driving that have been floating around and that I plan to use once I've overhauled my suspension. These are what Mr.Greeneyes and Buhmah run and they like it alot...

Run -2.5 front camber, 7.0 to 7.5 front caster, with 0 toe. In the rear, run -1.5 camber. Zero toe (well, maybe a slight toe in, your preferrance really.)

Always more camber up front.

Rule of thumb: Anything < -2 in the rear hinders grip during cornering.

0 to -0.5 camber for daily, b/c you don't need it.

panda, what are your suspension specs? wheel/tire sizes? I like your stance and am going to try and emulate it as much as possible this weekend...what do run for camber/caster/toe? I drive my car on the street sometimes, but still need something relatively aggressive...Im getting mine aligned after I put her in the weeds saturday...

17x9 +10 effectively w/ 25mm spacers all around215/45 tires all around I really want to switch to a 40 series though For clearance and aesthetic reasonsMaybe even 205? Alignment is not 100% known As my car is "too low" to fit on anyone's rack. But if I've done my geometry correctly...

Camber:~ -2 deg. (front) ~ -3.75 deg. (rear)

Toe:Really bad on all corners

Caster: No clue

Camber plates are maxed out up frontTires rub against all the fenders. Roll only. No pull.Yet.
