I live in a not a totally desirable part of town, so I got the Nissan wheel locks to try and do some theft preventing. I bend down to try and yank my hubcaps off, and they seem to have a clip on them binding them to the wheel. Is there a trick to getting them off without bending them?

Also any Versa owners use a clutch brake instead of a club?

Just give them a little more pressure and the hubcap should pop off. Use a large flat bladed screwdriver and work your way around the hubcap. Make sure that they are well seated when you reapply the hubcap. Some folks have had problems with their hubcaps popping off while driving.

Not sure what a clutch brake is so I cannot comment. You could use a Club type steering wheel lock as visual theft deterrent, but since the Versa is equipped with a Vehicle Immobilizer System that requires a registered chipped key to start I would not be too worried about some one being able to steal the vehicle.

Enjoy your new V!

Just hit a reverse pothole (large chuck of pavement sitting in the middle of the road). Worked like a charm for me!

Or just wait for plastic tabs to break, as three of mine did.

Oh come on. I've been waiting for my hubcaps to pop off. My sis rubbed the stupid plastic things against a curb, hit every pot hole possible, even did a couple sharp turns, and they still won't come off.
