This is on a sr with a t25 on stock boost at 7psi

Spring and strut combo, tien s springEnergy suspension bushing J30 vlsd

Best 60' was a 1.8Avg 2.0

Launching the car at 6k on street tires. No tire spin

Soon to be upgraded: shimmed diff, subframe collar. Hoping for consistence 1.8 or better

Well i see 2 reasons your only getting 1.8's1st off im sure you do not have a 2 step or launch control. So at 6k all your doing is dumping fuel and causing you to bog off the line. Thats why your not spinning the street tires.2nd off that vlsd will totally suck drag racingTo make better 60's you need to invest in a 2step and a set of drag radialsIf you was leaving at 7psi out of the hole those street tires would be bald by the 60ft mark.

I don't bog at launch. Anything under 6k luanch bogs hard. 2.6-3.0 60'ft. I know I can get a better 60ft by increasing the boost. I'm using nitto neogen all season tires. I don't spin in the rain in first or second gear roll when the boost is set at 7-10psi.

I thought about a launch control. But I want to see if I can hit 12.9 with my t25 first.

Nothing wrong with vlsd's . Alot of the faster 240's around run vlsd's. I abused mine for over 1.5yrs and it works just fine. Soon as my new setup is done I'll continue the abuse

the problems I have seen most have out of the vlsd is they tend to lock and unlock under pressure and a high rev tq launch it causes wheel hop (which most blame suspension which isnt usually the case) causing broke axless etc. But you guys are 4cyl so your not gonna make as much tq down low as the Rb25's/26's or the Ls1.I personally will never run anything but a full welded posi. I have Never once had wheel hop. and I cut decent 60's for the setup I had. Just my opinion. Everyone thinks a little different.

well i just upgraded to spl subframe collars and diff bushings, and ive also got the rush racing anti-lag (7-9psi at 5500rpm)with mickey thompson DR's and i think i should be able to cut a 1.6-1.7 60ft with my stock struts and springs. but ive been consistant 1.8 60 ft when i just had stock worn rubber bushings, and my gizzmo wich only built 2-3psi @5500rpm. and i run z32 n/a diff with 5 bolt j30 axles wich are alot beefeir then the stock 6 bolt axles.

ive been thinking of running the tein flex coilovers, but i think all im going to do is spin and run slower at the strip. so ive also been thinking of the hks hiper drag coilovers but i still want to be able to take the corners and the twisties. so i dont know what i should do for suspension. i already have all the cusco suspension arms but there not on yet, and i was just going to wait till i got my coilovers before i put em on.

what kind of tire combo are you going to be running?? I would think with anti-lag building almost 10psi and almost 500whp you would want to step up to maybe a 27 x 10+ or so.

Where did you buy the HKS Drag coilovers? I thought they were discontinued...
