So watch a video on YouTube on how to break in new brakes.

To much to type
You have to bed them in
They will be very responsive when you do that and bed them in.

Enjoy
Don't have them on my Murano yet but when the time comes that's what is going on. Not the sport brakes but the same rotors and pads

Take it back to them and have them check it out.

Make sure your brake fluid level is correct.
Bedding in the brakes is key to getting pad material uniformly on to the rotor.
Lots of different techniques if you google, most recommendations state DO NOT come to a complete stop, especially near the end of the bedding in procedure.

I agree with Yoda's Master - take it back to the folks who installed them to sort it out.

I'm a huge fan of brakemotive. Been using them on my 07 M, 09 M, and 2018 Q60.

I would not go cheap on brakes. If you have the budget - get Stoptech drilled rotors and maybe Akebono ceramic pads - do front ones and maybe rear one in a few months time. I a sure there are other reliable sites as well. Check out Tire rack site.

Well,in regard to the lack of of stopping as expected is gone.

I do have a new problem. The squeaking in the morning is becoming louder everyday and it makes this very high pitched screech. it sounds like a train stopping just by me leaving the drive way, afterwards it doesn't make any more noises at all, but occasionally (it does not happen consistently ) when i brake over 30mph the steering wheel would shake, not violently but enough to be a bit concerning. It doesnt pull to any specific side but just rattles and feels weaker braking. I dont understand, Hopfully it will settle itself.

I just did R1 Concepts zinc slotted rotors all around with their zinc calipers. I caught the zinc rear brakes on Amazon. On the site it doesn't have infiniti m56 for front but INFINITI/EX35/2009 fits the front.
I got the R1 Concepts Ceramic pads very good stopping power and the best part is the brake dust has been minimal it's the best I've had so far.

Maybe both rotors happen to have a manufacturing defect, or maybe they don't. Remember to properly bed in the rotors/pads when you install them - regardless of brand.

I have never bought the Brakemotive brand, but surely they offer some kind of warranty, right?

Firstly, Infiniti will always tell you anything without a nissan brand is defective. I took in my car to diagnose a low charge rate and they told me the first thing they'll need to do is replace my brand new defective optima battery since it's not OEM.

Either way, it looks like you got a bad batch or didn't break it in properly since you were having issues before you broke them in.

I don't like using no name ebay brands for important things like this since they will always be hit or miss.

I have these and they are good

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001FMHZ4G
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001FJLWG6

overall cost with shipping might be cheaper for you if you buy them from rockauto.

I would tell you to make sure your brake hardware are properly lubed, but you had a shop do the install so that might not be cost effective for you. Lubing the brake hardware resolved brake noise on my 370z with sports brakes.

Hope you get this resolved soon.

it cost me a bunch of things, but the dealership did not try to make me buy OEM rotors, they said we can resurface. while my regular mechanic said they cant be resurfaced. I imagine it wont cost too much so I might go with that option, brakemotive does have 10 year warrenty but they require you to send them back and you pay shipping. I have shipped over 3000 packages the last 2 years so I already know in advance I cant ship 50 pounds back to them without taking a lose.

Update :

after speaking to the tech service rep he said they can resurface them with their specifialy machine. i asked like 2 or 3 times if you sure they can do it, because my other mechanic said you cant.

Today, right before i was going to pick up my car due to a cracked radiator they told me oh sorry we can not resurface your rotors because their are drilled. those guys are a joke, i asked again and again for confirmation.

so now it looks like my only option is to buy another set of rotors anyways. lol. actually glad i didnt pay the 140 they wanted for resurface. initially i would of been a good deal but now i have to buy another set and pay somebody to install them again which would run me about 200.

but what can i do, got no option besides to buy a new set and sent the only one back with maybe a 10 or 20 dollars refund

Just install them yourself. It's not that hard.

Maybe someone on the forum can help you out for a 6-pack.

I had R1 Concepts regular Eline rotors with wagner ceramic pads.
My rear brake ceased and locked ruined my rear rotors. So I decided to change all the rotors to slotted zinc coated rotors and zinc coated brake calipers. I'm in New York so I hate the rusted look. I also hate a lot of brake dust and so far the r1 concepts ceramic pads has provided what I needed.
So far it's been better than I expected stopping and dust.
They're the eline zinc rotors and calipers which I might paint not sure. I posted a picture in a previous post of mine.

I ordered Brakemotive brakes, too. Got them in about a week or two ago and am just now ready to have someone install them. The rear pads look a little small and I'm trying to confirm they fit before I go to the shop. The product code is D905 and they should be for an M56x. Is this correct?

Does 4wd even come with sports brakes? I thought 4wd were only sold with base brakes.

If your calipers don't look like this, then you bought the wrong brakes

Are you talking about AWD? If so then yeah you can get them. Infiniti started making AWD sport model Y51's in 2013. So M37XS, M56XS, Q70S AWD

Infiniti calls it 4wd on their parts website, but that's not the point. Big_Tone has a 2011 M56X. I don't think his has the sports brakes so the kit he bought is useless. I should have quoted Big_Tone on my response. Didn't mean to cause any confusion.

I gotcha. Even though he has the X, I wanna say you could order the wheel and sport brakes separately so it's possible he has them..

Maybe, idk, which is why I posted a link to Z1 for him to check to see if his calipers are the sports calipers.
