I have a 2005 G35X - lately it seems like I am not shifting into OD. My RPMs are 3,000 when crusing at 55 MPH

Is this normal?

Does my car have an OD off button that I nmight have hit by accident?

Moving this to the G35 forum.

Welcome to NiCO! Have you taken your car to a shop to have the transmission checked out?

Do you see a light on your dash that says "OD off"?

Nissan & Infiniti automatics do have an OD off button -- it's usually located on the shifter somewhere.

The car is definitely not going into OD if the RPMs are at 3000 at only 55 mph. Bring it back to the dealer, or to a more competent independent shop for diagnosis.

3000 RPM is exactly 80MPH on my G in 6th gear

I seem to recall around 2750 RPM in 7th at 80 MPH when I had a loaner 2011 G37
