I would first check the ECU codes. And also check the TPS, it appears that the TPS sometimes "wanders" and won't hold correct voltage. When you hook up the multimeter lightly tap the tsp with the wooden end of a hammer or a rubber mallet etc.and see if the voltage moves around. Mine was doing that and was really messing up the auto transmission function. I replaced it and it drove like a new car, for a week, then no 2 fuel injector died. Now once again it runs great. With a car this old you can't let your guard down.
