So when i drive at slower speeds it sounds really rough. I have a 2011 Nissan Rogue AWD SL with 49,000 miles on it. When i drive at slower speeds around 25-35 miles an hour it sounds as if its a wheel bearing. I replaced both wheel bearings in the front. I also will be replacing the two wheel bearings in the back. The alignment just got done this past fall. I am wondering if anyone else has these rough sounds. Would it be something in the CVTransmission. I feel 50,000 miles is a little to early to be changing out wheel bearings the front two were felt like they were kind of worn down and tough to spin. I cant believe that these wheel bearings are that cheap.

But i guess my question is if anyone has any insight on this or what else it could be?? :wtf2: :werd:

it can be a lot of things. to tough for us to tell.

trans, transfercase, propeller shaft, differential, bearings, older hard tires(my santa fe currently does this), etc.

i was thinking about the tires might be the cause of it. they are the original tires on the rogue and about to be roughly 4 years old. but thank you for your response!
