Here the problem. Drove to work in the other morning car was okay. I started the car after work and immediately noticed a rough idle. The car could barely idle in drive. When accelerating the car misses and stumbles. Got home and did a little checking, found out that when I removed the NO. 1 COIL wire there was no change to the idle. The other coil wires all had a chage in idle. Changed the spark plugs, no change. Switched the coil with the other cyclinder, no change to No. 1 cyclinder. Took a compression test on all cyclinders and all were okay. Replaced the No.1 fuel injector. still have the problem. Does anyone have any suggestiion?THANKS

Welcome to NICO!

Have you looked to see if you are getting spark?Try swapping plug and coil (seperately) with a different cylinder to see if either works properly in a different cylinder.

The way you describe it, I'm wondering if the plug wire for cyl no. 1 isn't the cause.

I changed the coil with one of the other cyclinders and installed new spark plugs and also grounded the plug outside the cyclinder. I could see a sprk when i turned over the engine. Thanks

If the spark to the plug is ok, you may have damage the o-rings on the injector dring install. Did you use some rubber safe lube on the o-rings during installation? This happened to my nephew once and he installed the new injector without the lube. If the seal in the injector housing is broken gas will load up the cylinder and cause a miss.

It is HIGHLY recommended that you use ONLY NGK spark plugs in your car. You can go with plats or double plats it you want, but you should be fine with basic NGKs.
