hey guys, Its about time for me to change my rotors and pads.

Both front and rear rotors are glaces. My pads are ok, but i prefer changing

both pads and rotors. So my question to you is, what are your

recommondations as far as rotors and pads combo?

I had hawk pads before and there wonderful, as for the rotors, i really

have no clue what to get. thanks in advance.

Oh one last things anybody ever bought rotors and pads from Girodisc?

My friend brought a set rotors and pads from them and he said they're

really good. Heres the site http://www.girodisc.com/catalo...61_78

thanks again.

Do you want new/different rotors or do they really need to be replaced? Rotors can be pretty expensive. I've had rotors on other cars rotated (shaved) to prolong their life. Is this not an option or a bad idea on a Z?

i actually shaved/ cut my rotors and replace the pads already, the rotors

are some what thick still, but the braking feel is getting weaker to me, so

im thinking its time for an upgrade.

You should provide some more information in order to get some decent suggestions. Brembos or no? How much are you willing to spend on pds & rotors? How often are you willing to replace them? Do you plan on tracking/auto-x'ing or taking the car to any HPDE's? Do you want a pad with a long life or would you prefer a high friction compund pad? Are you ok dealing with the dust from a high friction pad? Without providing these you run the risk of someone suggesting a rotor that will: only fit with Brembo calipers, costs more than you want to spend (ie: Endless or Project Mu), doesn't fit your needs or even a combination of all three.

As a starting point without any more information I'd suggest checking out http://www.racingbrake.com/ .
