A guy in England performed the same mod, and he was nice enough to share the autocad drawing of the mounting bracket. I basically built out of his CAD model.

The lights are 90mm Hella projector beams for low, 90mm Hella reflector high beam. Those you can purchase at various places online, and they come in HID version as well, which is great because it would be a Hella made unit with OEM quality.

The original light bucket was modified to fit the new bracket. The actuator rods and the swing arms were shorten to give it a little sleepy look, but I didn't shorten it enough imho. But at least it doesn't require any aftermarket light controller, it just opens and closes like the factory unit, except lower.

Dumb question, but would you be interested in sharing the plans?

We have the same car (I have a 93 black vert with the door pillars removed)... Those wheels look absolutely stunning on that car. Well done.

BTW, welcome to NICO - glad to have you aboard!

Not sure which profession you are in, so I am not sure if you have a copy of AutoCAD to view the files. They are to scale, so you would want to plot them in a large plotter or print it on multiple sheets 11x17 paper. If you are printing them on 11x17, the main area of the plot happens tobe all on 1 single sheet, but you would still want it to print to scale (spanning multi-page) just to keep all the measurement correct.

Autodesk (maker of AutoCAD) has a free viewer/printer for download. I haven't used it so I don't know how well that works, but it should work fairly well.

09Quickly - I still have mine, I actually drove it for about 70 miles after the auto trans. swap before putting it back on jackstands. I used SCJustices' old automatic to replace the one in mine, and addressed a dented oil pan and front seal leak while I had it off the ground. After finally getting it back on the ground and driving in some beautiful convertible weather, I found a severe oil pan leak (*&%$*& permatex). Now back on jackstands, engine is out. I'm going to do it right this time. Someday.....
