hi guys, i've been doing a bit of research on the new Rogue and i found that it was based on the C class chassis from the Sentra family. Nissan said they basically took the Sentra Chassis and plunked the SUV body on it (not literally but you know what i mean).

here's my question, if we were to upgrade our suspension, would it be similar to the Sentra suspension then?

i wanted to look at options of lowering the Rogue, and getting a set of 19s or 20s.

what do you guys think?

It's not that simple; the suspension geometry is different to deal with the difference in roll center, center of gravity, height, length, width, track, plus the heavier load. The suspension travel range on the Rogue is longer as well. The only option I've so far seen is H&R's drop spring kit, which is ~1.4" drop front and rear. I'm sure more stuff will be available in a few months; I'm personally waiting to see who comes out with stiffer antisways for this car. Still pondering the H&R drop springs, but I'm not yet sure if I want to do that as much as I do the stiffer antisways.

The Sentra uses a different rear suspension than the Rogue (solid beam vs. independent for the Rogue). That and the aforementioned ride height differences prevent any suspension interchangeability with the Sentra.
