Rogue Shake Down

I just took my Rogue on a 1200 mile shakedown cruise. Starting in Illinois driving to Tulsa Oklahoma, 600 miles each way. The trip west had very strong headwins and average speed thru Missouri and Oklahoma was 75mph. MPG was 23.7 I was really impressed with the engine which was very responsive and criused effortlessly. Passing was stronger than I anticipated and the CVT was seemless up and down hills. On the return leg with the wind at my back my MPG jumped to 27.8. Not bad considering the Rogue is not broken in yet. The EX radio spolied me and the Bluetooth made chatting effortless. I have to say that overall thusfar I'm am really impressed with the Rogue and think it will be winning over some Murano owners.

Great to hear that the Rogue is nice for travel. So you got over 25 average for the trip.. that's pretty good.. especially at high speed.

I think you're right about it competing with the Murano.. though I'm sure Nissan would prefer it to steal sales from Rav4 and CRV, etc.. lol.
