My Rogue rubbing noise coming from the part under my feet every morning at initial accelerating after overnight parking. It's metallic, and i can feel the vibration, It's about half second like something scratch the bottom, and it won't happen again rest of the day. Some say it's the transmission when cold could cause this issue.
Shall i get it repair?

Daughter owns a 2009 Rogue that has the same symptoms. She took hers to dealer
and diagnosis was axle CV joint was failing. Funny thing is, the axle was just replaced
with an aftermarket axle. We're in the process of getting it back to the shop
who replaced the axle to see if the new axle failed or was improperly installed.

I'm just wondering what your dealership's service department said about the rubbing. I mean you own a brand new vehicle with a 36-month/36,000-mile warranty, so I'd assume you took it to them to correct the problem.

the noise could be brake dust that has rusted, and once you remove it - its gone till given the chance to come back. its very common.

the vibration could certainly be coming from the transmission. the steel belt needs time to warm up. and since metal changes size when warm = different characteristics.
