rogue 2014 remote start problems

I just had a remote start installed at the dealer its a AM6.2 the problem is when you shut it off with the remote the headlights stay on a good 5 min and the radio stays on unless I go out and open the door is their anything that can be done before I start being a pain in the a**

Thanks Ya I have them I am just looking for someone that has the same thing installed and doing the same thing I am pretty sure thay need to hook up a wire to the door open circuit but you know how dealerships can be thay will say That's the way it is so I just need confirmation that it isn't

Did you have to give up a FOB into the car for the installation of this remote start?

If you already haven't contact a different dealership to ask if your remote start system is working correctly, and or stop by an independent retailer for confirmation as well.

Just out of curiosity...what is the course of events to start/drive the vehicle with the remote starter?

i.e. if you remote start, what do you do when you walk up to your car? Does your OEM fob still unlock the doors when you press the door handle button? does the car continue to run when you open the door? Can you drive away if you do not have the OEM key fob in pocket? If you remote started it, can you turn it off by the dashboard button, or do you need to use the AM6.2 remote?

Any thoughts as to how they bypassed the need for donating a key? Did they use some special module?

I just dropped it off at the dealer ill have it back tomorrow and let ya know how it works as for not giving up a key there's a you tube video showing them putting the key up to the module and programing it
