VStar650CL - My screen is continuously black, so I can't see it to upload the update. I brought my rogue to the dealer on 1/2/22 - I showed them the Tech Service Bulletin saying this is what is going on. They came back out to get me about 45 mins later telling me they could not do the software update because my screen is black, and they need to see what they are doing to perform the down load. And...they offered me a price quote for a new display module $2K!!!, but it goes to $1.5K with return of my unit. So, I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on what to do with a blank screen (it is still one - I can tell because it is illuminated, and I can change the day/night setting on it and see a change in density) I've tried the battery terminal off/on - that gave me about a minute of the display coming back on, then it works its way back to black. I did notice Ebay has some used modules, but I'm hesitant to go that route. Any other ideas?

correction, went to dealer on Feb. 2, 2022. (not January 2nd)

Try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for about 10 seconds. That will get the AV to re-boot about 90% of the time.
