Sporty wheels and style (eg exposed bbk, etc) are getting big in japan right now; I'm noticing alot of sporty-vip cars in VIPCAR and VIPStyle magazines lately.

That's what I like to hear...that's actually the route I'm going with my President.

Rims should be on in a couple weeks, then I'll post pics :D

I don't know if I glossed over it while going back and forth over the thread, but what about the G35C 19" Rays wheels? I think they'd look good on a Cedric....but...that offset....so positive and happy. I don't know how it'd look and I don't just want to go spending money so I'm asking.

Actually, if I get pics, They can't be worse than what's on the car already. They're like 16's or not so likely 17's (didn't check, too busy looking at leather).But yeah, opinions?

I can run spacers if need be.

Nah. those are way too sporty and 16/17s are way too small for a cedric. Min. I would go is 18s. Look at the work wheels & SSR site they have a pretty good lineup to choose from!

Oh and it's better to go wider and have to pull than to go ower and have to use spacers. Make the car fit the wheel, don' t be scurd

They're 19's...19 X8.0 & 19 X 8.5 to be exact. yea, they're not wide, but I think bronze would look good on a green cedric. better than the 16's that are on there now I still say.The other Cedric at the lot has some 18" Leasing wheels. Sex.

I am going to be on 16's for a while. Unless someone just gives me some nice larger rims. because I have to pay mums back for the car.

That Crown is crazy sexy.

If Toyota brought that to the US, I think it would sell.

I generally only like Nissan/Infiniti but I must admit the JDM Toyotas are amazing. I've even been considering getting a USDM LS400. With a VIP treatment, they are quite effing nice.

So, I think I found some rims I want.

Size: 18; Pitch: 5H-114.3; Offset: +40; Disc Face Type: 5-Spoke; Jwidth: 7.5JJ;

not bad looking, stylish enough to pass off as VIP, I've seen sportier. no lip, but lip isn't everything. Plus, NISMO. lol

Grant, you make me laugh.

You disappear forever then show back up and call people names. Amazing.

Anyways, Martin, in response to your question, there are many factors. Suspension, fenders, offset of said wheels. Pics of wheels on said vehicle up close would also help in determining what might be the best route. Then you must also factor in what type of driving you will be doing. Lets get some more info then we can go from there in helping you figure out what size tire might fit YOU the best. Thanks and happy posting.
