Rims and tire question

Alright so I was bored tonight and started looking at some wheels.

1) will 17x7.5s +40 offset fit without rubbing stock height? How about lowered?2) will 17x7s +40 offset fit without rubbing lowered?

also im lookin at tires. width wise 17x7s take 205s. I was searching and the sizes given were 205/50/17 and 205/45/17. Which would be better to go with on a versa?

First time experimenting with bigger wheels (and im trying to fill the wheel well as well as get a wider rim).

probably have to get the 17x7.5 cause i dont think youve got the room for 8.5, but if theyve got a lower offset than +40 get that instead

17x7 with a +40 offset and 215 45 17 tires is a perfect fit on a Versa and shouldn't rub at all (either stock height or lowered). The 215 45 17 combination is almost exactly the same diamater as the stock wheel and tire combination so your speedometer will remain accurate.

I wouldn't run a tire as thin as a 205 with a 7" or 7.5" wide wheel. I just picked up some 17 x 7 Motegi MR7s and I'll be buying some 215 45 17 tires before the end of the month.

as for the rims i really want a thicker spoke, but ive always wanted those fno1r-c's for my old honda.

try the 17x8 +35 fn01rc, i bet they fit, and ive been trying to find a versa owner who dares to put a nice fitting wheel/tire combo on, and this would do it methinks

codered can tell you all about it, he can also tell you how much room hes still got after he didnt want to push it

yea I wont be able to do this for about a year (leasing for now, option to buy it in march 09) unless i decide to buy it before hand. but I def like the idea of them with a +35 offset.

Also a question about these stupid tpmsensors. I saw there like 3xx for new ones!?! . are you able to reuse the ones on the wheels? What if i didnt want them at all, would that stupid light blind me forever? Is there a way to get around to trigging that light off without the sensors being there??
