Ride quality?

Hi all,
My wife has a 2012 Rogue which she mostly likes, except for the obnoxious ride quality. The chassis feels "springy" for a lack of better words, and road noises/imperfections are transmitted (if not amplified) to the cabin. This lack of refinement is tolerable for short commutes to and from work, but on long road trips we both find the Rogue exhausting to drive... The harsh ride quality has us seriously contemplating trading the car in, but I would like to first see if others have found any workarounds. It still has the stock Continental tires on it and I'm curious if there are other brands out there that offer significantly better ride quality.

Any ideas?? Or is this as good as it gets?

Thanks!

I have no suggestions on tire choice but will say my general experience has been that tires can have a huge impact on road noise and modest impact on ride. With that said I have a 2015 with run flat tires and they are loud and harsh riding. Much louder and harsher than the demo we drove with standard tires. Also bad struts will cause the conditions you describe.

Thanks gobbler. Tires are just about shot as is so we're probably going to replace them soon... I will look into a premium tire and see if that does anything to help.
