Hey, ive been seaching for like 2 days now, and i find alota topics about deciding if someone should get a jwt retune or go with a emange or use a safc and so on and so on.. well im so confused, and im sure alot of other people are who plan on hitting clue to the 400 hp range.

What would be best for these plans? Using a cobra mafs, and 72lb injectors?

I was thinking about going with a JWT retune, HKS EVC5, and the HKS AFR to work out any bugs in the air fuel.

Also i was thinking about using a HKS Knock Amp, as a wideband o2 so i can get down to tunning my car to how i want it.. someone give me feedback on this system..

Im also thinkin about getting an Emanage, but for my goals would i need to get a JWT retune to go along with the emange??

What have you high HP guys done to control ur fuel system?

Thanx for the helpJon

With me it all comes down to money! If I were rich and waned 500HP I would get both but I’m not rich and I want the best bang for the buck. If you do get a piggy back it can always be used or sold.

Have you ever tuned a car before? How much do you honestly know about it? I ask because if you aren't up to the task you'll end up having to pay someone else to do it and that should be figured into your budget if you went the route of the e-manage. Tuning is not exactly cheap either...I decided to go with a JWT ecu in a similar situation for pretty much that reason, I know my limitations and didn't want to spend the money on tuning when the JWT ecu is pretty much plug in and go. You could always try just the JWT ecu and then if you feel you could get more power out of the engine use a cheaper piggyback like an s-afc to lean it out a bit.

I see no reason why not, the JWT ecu is a proven setup for high horsepower and you can only make it better with the afr :)

I've heard so many different things about ignition and I haven't DONE it myself yet so I'm not qualified to say...I'll be happy to tell you how the stock ignition works with just some good plugs, wires, and the plug gap set low here in 4 or 5 weeks (hopefully!)
