Requesting Input re 2024 Rogue

Rented on last month to go from DC to the Crystal Coast NC.

Liked its looks. Very comfortable for me and all options I needed.

Only concern was that it may have been a little under powered and sluggish at times under hard acceleration.

Then I found out it is a 3 cylinder turbo engine with a CVT. Spoke to the foreman at the Infiniti dealer who serviced all our cars while we lived in Virginia. He has no concerns about the power train.

What has been your experience?

Don’t do it lol. STOP/START, Plastic oil pan, used oil analysis shows huge fuel dilution and it sounds like a sewing machine on crack lol. I had 1 for a rental and KIND OF LIKED IT. But after the pre cat issues back in the mid 200’s I’d wait. Nissan has a tendency to overthink things and not in a good way. Almost 20 yrs of the cvt and they’ve got my 24 Altima boiling fluid and it’s supposedly normal when they were close to adding an aftermarket cooler.
