Replacing Stock Speakers Useful Information from experiance.

So ive been upgrading the sound system in my coupe and i had a local shop do everything. Now they asked me if i wanted the tweeters mounted flush in the doors or mounted where the factory ones were.Had them do them in the doors. The only problem was that they left the stock 3.5" tweeters connected and they were eating up my power from my amp and playing louder than the rest of the speakers since they are only 2 ohm.So this morning i finally get the nerve to try and fix it take a handy blade and tear those f***ers out. Just kinda ripped out the voice coils and everything.After doing this i compared the sound with one side in and one side out. It sounds way better and way more clear without the stock tweeters.So anyone planning on upgrading to a comp set. it is best to disconnect the stock tweeters.Heres some pics
