Hi,

I'm having issues with the smart keys in my 2005 G35, and am wondering if replacing them with a regular key fob would pose any issues? The regular fobs are much cheaper, but am not certain if programming them will be a problem. Also, what about the locking gas cover? I don't suppose anyone has done this type of replacement?

Probably will be expensive. The FOBs are linked to the VIN of the vehicle...and tied to the ECU. Not even sure where you would start.
