I've tried to search a lot to find out what type of bulbs the Z32 uses for Map lights and I cannot seem to find the RIGHT kind of bulb! I see that it's supposed to use a 194 or 158 type bulb but the ones in the stores are too big. They are about twice the size. I bought one and it does not fit. It seems the bulbs my car needs are mini bulbs. I am looking got a brighter white bulb, where can I get some? Also will LED replacement bulbs work? What about the dimming feature, what will happen with that?

Thanks for any help!

What you are looking for is a mini wedge #74. Dimming feature still works with LEDs.

Check out superbrightleds.com, lots of selection.

Resurrecting an old post here (sorry). I am replacing the map lights, courtesy lights, and glove box light. I noticed the base and bulb on the courtesy light is smaller than the map light. Both are listed as 194/158, but those bulbs do not fit (as already noted here).

So, just as the map light needs a different base, what is the proper base to buy for the courtesy lights and the glove box lights? [side note, I have not found the glove light bulb, but it should be there on a 1990 N/A, right?)

Many thanks

I found the glove light bulb. So, what are the actual bases (not the listed 194/158 that is wrong) for the following:

Glove light bulb = ?
Courtesy light bulbs = ?
Map light bulbs = mini wedge #74 (as per robomatic12)
