ok, some little **** in grade ten ripped the spoiler off my car, (1990 240SX). after i hit him , i went and talked to him and him and his dad. they said they'll pay half. if i want any more, theyre gonna cherge me with assult, (i dont know if it will stick, but i cant risk it). A replacement factory wing is $265 US after painting. Im poor as you all know, so i cant get that, does anyone know where i can find one for cheap that doesnt look like you're trying to take off?

I am also looking into a new spoiler because I have the common rust problem under the s13 spoiler. I am getting my car repainted this spring (graduation present) and was wondering if there were any spoiler out there with similar style as my 1990 hatch because I want a spoiler, but not one thats gonna cause rust and definetly not a ricey one. I did a search and couldn't really come up with much. Thanks for any help.

By the way... what made him rip off your spoiler? I would have taken the spoiler and beat him to death, then crammed it up his ***. Good luck with that situation.

Get the most expensive estimates possible of as many parts that could be considered damaged from him ripping it off and then get half of that.

You know what, screw that, just bring him the advertisment of how much it cost with the pic and an estimate from a legitamte car shop and make him pay for that . He won't get away with assalt in small clames court. Thats just something to scare you so you don't take him to court. You had every right to punch him. He could only get away with assalt if you like beat him to an inch of his life and he had to go to the hospital. Which is what I would've done.

i would have caught him and just taken my spoiler back

then beat his face in with the mounting bolt side of the spoiler...it's light, swings fast

I think you should just have the holes weldeda and then repaint the hatch. That is what I am having done, fixes the problem of the rust under the wing.

Incorrect ... he touched the kid. Therefor it is physical assault.

but if it's aggrivated assult it can be argued as self defense...after all his personal property was destroyed before the assult took place
