Removing Valve Covers

Does the whole intake manifold have to be removed to get the drivers side valve cover off? or just the throttlebody ?

i cant tell how high the vavle cover needs to be lifted to come out, im removing to change gaskets & throw some paint on them

Yeah, Z32 deff need to remove intake manifold

but z31 im not quite sure but im asking for the z31
