Hi there. I'd like to hardwire my radar detector into my 2007 Nissan Altima sedan but not sure how to remove the trim that goes down the windshield on the driver's side.

Also, I'm looking for some good mudflaps for my car. Nissan only sells "mudguards" which I have and don't do a good job of stopping rocks from chipping my paint. Any recommendations?

Yeah, I'm finding that out. I used to own a Honda and the paint was alot better quality than my Nissan Altima.

trim that goes down the windshield is called A-pillar cover. It just pops off. Simply stick a panel removing tool or flathead screwdriver inbetween A-pillar cover and black rubber thingy (one towards the door) and pop the cover right out.

Thanks, I'll try that. Didn't know if there were any hidden clamps or anything and didn't want to break them off in the process of removing. Thanks again!
