Hello All.. I've owned my '04 G35 coupe since july of 03 and love it just as much today as I did back then. So today I decided to change the clearance light that has been burnt out for about a month and I did a search on google and found this site.. So I remove the fender liner retaining tabs and remove the old bulb. I put a new bulb on the holder and get it inside its hole on the assembly and when I tried to tighten the holder in place the dang bulb came off.. so I break out my handy-dandy extractor and get the bulb out of the socket- took a little wrangling but I got it- I re-inserted the bulb onto the holder to make sure it was secure and put it back in- same thing happened when I tried to tighten it in place. except this time removal was not happening- I got the bulb out of the socket area but dropped off behind the socket but did not fall.. I tapped the housing but nothing.. so I decided to take the second bulb that came with the package and reattempt to install the bulb figuring that the other bulb will eventually fall out.. believe it or not the same damn thing happened.. I could not get my extractor on the bulb pefectly and lost the second bulb near the first.. So now I want to remove the headlight assembly to get them out. I tried removing the obvious bolt under the hood but that only loosened it up. Does anyone know where the retaining bolts are behind the headlight assembly that would make my life a little easier. This was supposed to be a 10 min job lol... Murphy's Law at its finest.. Thanks in advance ~Tim

Damn!! I guess I'll just leave them in there for now. I'll put it back together and take another stab at this at another time. Thanks for the info- I appreciate it.~T
