Removing fog / driving light

Can someone please give me detailed instructions on removing the drivers side driving light assembly on my 1999 Q45? I have been under the car for over an hour and have no clue . Any help is appreciated. I have a rock chip in front lens and it is causing water and condensation to get inside. Does anyone here have a drivers side driving light for sale?

If you are asking about the lower lights on the front fascia, they are fog lights, not driving lights.

To remove, you carefully have to pry the inside reflector cover off from the bottom with a non-marking (rag wrapped, single bit screwdriver will work) very carefully and it will pop out.

The manual actually has a good description of this with illustrations.

I tried removing the 2 spring clips on the bottom of the fog light,but there is more holding it in place. If anyone has removed the fog lamp assembly on a 1999 will you please give me some tips on removal.

There are no spring clips retaining the in-board translucent lenses.

They pop out using the above described technique revealing the bolt heads for removing the fog light units. Of course, the units must be unplugged from the harness to be removed.__________________Brian1995 Q45 & Q45t & 2000 Q45
