i work at a dealership and we have an adhesive remover called dealersol, but considering its a dealer only item i think it will be hard to find something of its status elsewhere....try gasoline, i used to use it on my bikes when i would take the stickers off

Oh, the adhesive, I just scratched it out with my nails, and a mixture of goo gone, later, I got discouraged, and used a flathead screw driver to take off the emblems, but that resulted in scratching off the paint, so I wouldnt try that.

yeah i used a screwdriver to pry off the emblesm and sepereate the adhesive carefully, that worked with no problem, but i am getting tired of tryna peel of the remainder adhesive, it took me like an hour just clean up the "SE"!! and the adhesive on teh hood is barely coming off! GRR

Just keep working on it, eventually, it will come off.
