I'd like to remove the "Q45" from the rear deck spoiler and was wondering what was the best method to do this. I like the idea of nobody knowing what I'm driving or how fast it is!

YOu can pry them off gently and use a sharp blade to scrap the glue from the panel. Do this very carefully - its easy to damage the paint.

Once you remove them - there will be two holes in the panel per number that act as holding points. You'll need to fill them with some compound and paint to match the same color as the back. Its a PITA to do the entire thing unless you dont mind driving with holes in the trunk - I would.

when i took my emblems off i just used a screwdriver however i didnt care about the paint. You could take a piece of plastic, say from a plastic bottle, cut it out, and wedge it in between the paint and the emblem. They have this adhesive foam stuff and thats what you need to do.. There will be a residue left on there and then just take like some rubbing alchy to get the goo off....

use waxed dental floss-saw in between letters and paint-lubricate with wd40 or detailers spray as you go-no holes behind emblems on the 90-96q-just adhesive tape.

WD40 on paint is not a good idea. Go to the thread.

I have taken off many badges in my time and I find the best way to do it is to use a heat gun (hair dryer will suffice). This will loosen up the adhesive and then use fishing line/dental floss to get the badge to come off. You then can use a adhesive remover that is safe for paints to remove the remaining glue.

I used my wifes blow dryer and a old credit card to get the glue residue I use an eraser from a good pencil or you can use a good wax I used 3m rubbing compound that removes blemeshed and that works cool since is a little more course than a regular wax
