The j13 distributor fixing plate needs to be removed so I can set the spindle for distributor and fix the timing. I need assistance on how to remove the fixing plate. Is their anyone who knows?

removed the distributor plate on my J13 last week. It's basically a plate with integrated bushing: the bushing slides into the block until the plate is flush.
If you remove the bolt/nut which locks the plate, you can get it moving by tapping it with a plastic hammer so it rotates a bit. Then reverse direction so it moves more and more. Once you have it rotating in a decent way, you can pull the plate while tapping and then it should start to move out little by little. Worked for me!
