Hello,
I recently had a Clifford 20.7 remote starter installed in my 10' G37x and while it seems to work well, the "key" dash light comes on when i take the transmission out of park.
Any one with a similar starters (including Viper®, Python®, Clifford®, Astroflex® and Autostart®) have this happen?
I suspect it's a programming issue (i hope).

Thanks,

What color is the light? I know on our G it's green when the battery starts to fail, and red when the voltage is getting low enough that it's going to not work soon.

Any chance it's unrelated to your remote start and you just need a new battery?

Did you have to give them one of your remotes to hide under the dash when they did the remote start installation?

Got it,
the com relay was defective. Works great.
to answer Q451990 question regarding the key, no key is required to remain in the car at all times.

Glad you got it worked out. I'd love to do this on my wife's G, but I haven't had the balls to hack into it's wiring - especially while it's under warranty.

no wires are actually cut, infact an infiniti dealer here (toronto) offer the install and full warranty.
I didn't go that direction because the installer that installed mine actually does the work for the dealer, so i essentially saved the mark up.
