reliability of used 2016+ Q50

In 2014, the G37 Sedan became Infiniti Q50. G37 Coupe and Convertible became Infiniti Q60 under Infiniti's new naming structure - Here's the place to discuss the Q50 and Q60!

Helping a friend shop for a new car. He had a 2012 G37 coupe but a minor accident was enough to total it. He wants a sedan next. (I have a 2008 G35 sedan, and a 1992 Q45 before that).

He's interested in 3.0 TT but may consider 4 cylinder (Mercedes engine, right?). RWD, no need for hybrid or AWD. Atlanta area. Budget is $20K or less.

Are there any general reliability concerns with either engine? I know historically turbos can be problematic but not sure if that's an issue these days, but perhaps these engines don't have enough miles yet to know for sure.

I see chatter on other forums about common twin turbo replacements on 3.0 V-6, seems to be bad for 2016-17 and maybe some 2018 but supposedly there is an updated part?

Crappy runflats, Shredding belts, and leaking turbo's are the main complaints. I've had my '17 Q60 for 3 years but simply have not put enough miles on it to see a single issue (just over 7000 miles since purchased)
