hey guys,
I just got done installing the stillen oil cooler upgrade and a mishimoto radiator. Anybody with similar setups/experience in these equipments, what would be the best coolant and motor oil to run these with? Im in Florida with 100k on the ticker, so im looking for something specifically for extreme weather conditions. Thanks guys, any suggestions would be great.

Sounds like a cool project! ;)

No need to get fancy with the coolant. You're in no freeze danger, so after you flush everything (including the block passages), I like a quart of regular Prestone (or quality coolant), a bottle of Redline Water Wetter, and fill the rest with distilled water. Tried and true.

The best oil is clean oil. No need to get crazy there either - FL weather doesn't hold a candle to AZ weather, so a good synthetic blend, changed every 3k miles, will perform just as good as anything.

Welcome aboard!

The only oil that I've found that seemed to make an obvious difference was the old formula of Royal Purple, which from what I've heard isn't available any longer with their special additive. I do however run Lucas upper cylinder lube in my oil, and before my injector replacement used their fuel injector cleaner every 3-4 tank fills.
Otherwise as AZhitman advised a good quality coolant and oil will work well, especially when replaced at 3K intervals as well as using a Nissan oil filter each time and checking the hoses for pliability and tightness- has served me well with both of my Z's for 12 years now.
