what would y'all say is a reasonable price to get my stock rims painted? With all my school work I don't have the time or experience to get this done myself so paying someone is my only route.

Painting isnt the way to go.. powdercoating is!

Theres a nico vendor who does powdercoating in a bajillion colors and it runs around $80 a wheel i believe.

Heres the mothership of nico... http://forums.nicoclub.com/

There you will see the advertisers marketplace, and the FABRICATORS MARKETPLACE (where i sell my overlays)

In the advertisers marketplace you will find Liquid Powder Coats...zer...coats

Ship em there, and he ships em back... AMAZING COLOR COMBINATIONS ARE POSSIBLE!

Its not hard to rattlecan (spraypaint) wheels, it doesnt stick that well though, and you are going to have a VERY limited color palate.

Powdercoating is nails tough and can stand up to much more than spraypaint... and provides colors you cant match!

I was thinking of using this in a 2stage powdercoat... You tell me what spraycan you would use lol

Or brooks violet over ink black...

Or Burple over ink black...

As wild as your imagination...

that red and black would look sick on a black coupe like yours but that 2nd color would look real good to, looks like a tough decision lol

you should paint them yourself if you plan on getting different wheels in the future. its really cheap and just takes a day to finish. if you're never going to get new wheels, get them powdercoated so you never have to worry about chipping and other stuff happening to them.

just on a sidenotethe paint does stick wellit really depends on how well you sand it and primer

and if anything happens you have the option to patch it up.
