Rear view Mirror Rubber post

So who still has the factory rubber stub up between the glass and rear view mirror? I found mine when I took all the seats out to clean the carpet properly. It was under the pass front seat. The Q’s had them I don’t know for how long. Also found some stuff from the OG owner, lots of Cheerios from my daughter under the Back seat, lol.

I got mine in my 90. I want to say I pulled the one from my 93 when scrapped but I have no clue where I would have put it

Both G50s have this, although to be fair, it was one of the first things i restored to factory correct when each was acquired.
Part number is: BASE, MIRROR- INF#96328-41L00 IoS sold them for $3.02 back in 2005.
Some would say a short length of 3/32 vac hose (the autozone type crap) is good enough. I say "not for me".

Amayama lists them for $3.91. Tell you the truth I never realised this was a factory item. Just thought the previous owner put it there.....

It stabilizes the mirror a little. I saw th3m at the auto shows as well. You could prob use a pc of vac hose, the factory pic is ribbed.
