wut up....My ride is an 89 240 fastback.... and i always wanted to know if there was any way i could possibly make the orange turn signal on the tail lights clear. I have seen it done on 240's b4 but it was only pics so i could have asked how it was done. is the only way for this to be done by cutting out the orange piece and matching it wid an identical clear piece? cuz ive seen it done and it does look good....(neone livin in Toronto... gimme a holla....)

i think http://www.clearcorners.com could do it for you, they are a unique company that clears lights for cars that don't have a millon and a half 19.95 alteza wannabes, but they do charge a bit... y not a 180sx conversion?

The tail lights also are not street legal, at least not here in the USA. Anyway the other taillights they make for the hatchback are way cooler than rice lights.

Try looking at some 180SX taillights, they look really nice.

How so? Clear signals lens are DOT legal everywhere. They can light up clear or amber, doesn't matter.

You guys are giving him options, but not answering his question. I think that the cleared out amber looks really good. Does anyone know how its done?

I saw a site that talked about clearing out the rear amber lens on a 300Z. I'll try to find the page, but I remember the guy saying something about heating the lenses in an oven to loosen the amber tint, and carefully scraping it off with a hobby knife or scapel.

i would be incredibbly happy if i could find out how to do that. i have a 1990 fastback, and i live in canada. if that thing with heating them up would work, and i could get detailed instructions, it would be a big help.
