My engine came out of an automatic car and I converted it to a maunual using the clutch and flywheel from a RWD CA18de that I bought as a parts engine with long term plans of building an NA engine for my 510...Anyway the clutch slips a lot, so I changed my disk out with the one off my KA, and it still slips, so I went to throw a heavy duty KA pressure plate in today and it doesn't fit. I read multiple threads about KA clutches fitting but the holes dont line up at all. At this point I dont have any locator pins in the flywheel and it won't bolt up no matter how I clock it.
So I assume the NA flywheel is different, can anyone confirm this? At this point I am getting sick of pulling my transmission so I would love any adivice from you guys.
