Re-Aiming The Headlights

Hey Everybody,

I searched but couldn't find any details on it but I was wondering how you re-aim the headlights. I want to aim them low as possible because I want to reduce the glare from my HID's. I want to do this and combine it with my glare shields. If anybody has pics, that would be awesome.

First you remove the the black rubber cover that is covering the wire harness for the headlights.

Then remove the wire harness from the headlight.

There are 2 clips holding the headlight in place.

Then pull the headlight out.

Pretty easy.

if you look directly over the headlight you and move back just slightly you will see a hole in the metal behind on the top behind the headlight. Look directly down that hole and you will see a while piece and you will need an allen key.

you installed hid into your stock headlight? did it melt the housing? i too would like to do this someday....

No it didn't. I have my HID out at the moment because people were going nuts, flashing high beams, cursing, etc. I'm just waiting on the glare shields and then back to the drawing board. And yes I know about do it the right way and retrofitting but I don't have the money for that.
