That does not mean they will work the same. I have tuned most companies injectors with the same program. There is a difference. Some injectors will not idle around 14.7, they want it richer (dwell time). We are talking the same CC. The bigger the injector gets, the worse the problem gets. RC injectors are great injectors, worth the money if you want a smooth idle and light throttle.c-rad wrote:Just an FYI, RC, Lucas and Precision Turbo get their injector bodies from Delphi. So any of those will work. 550cc injectors for a DSM on ebay.... $209.

Never said they performed the same. I said the injector BODIES were the same so physically they are the same dimensions so they will all fit.Coldspawn wrote:

They will all fit, there is difference. It just matters if you can deal with the different to save money. From a another post, c-rad wrote:brand new dsm 550s... $209 off ebay. And FYI, RC, PTE and Lucas all use Delphi injector bodies. Don't be fooled by name brands.
Thats proabably what he is talking about. The inlet OD is about the same on them.float_6969 wrote:was it the injector that was too big, or the injector with the O-ring?
