Would these bolt-on perfectly since they are made for 90+ DSM, top feed, low resistance:

One thing Im concern though is my Mine's ecu was tuned for 444cc, would my car run pig rich with these injectors? Or is it safe to run richer?

Thanks!

Just an FYI, RC, Lucas and Precision Turbo get their injector bodies from Delphi. So any of those will work. 550cc injectors for a DSM on ebay.... $209.

Thanks for the great info.

Ideally I was hoping for some brand new 450cc, since my Mine's ecu is tuned to work best with 444cc.

Is it safe to run richer with the 550cc?

Your ecu will not work with the 550's. As I was told, "you might be able to idle, but then when you hit the gas it wont run".

That does not mean they will work the same. I have tuned most companies injectors with the same program. There is a difference. Some injectors will not idle around 14.7, they want it richer (dwell time). We are talking the same CC. The bigger the injector gets, the worse the problem gets. RC injectors are great injectors, worth the money if you want a smooth idle and light throttle.

Never said they performed the same. I said the injector BODIES were the same so physically they are the same dimensions so they will all fit.

was it the injector that was too big, or the injector with the O-ring?

They will all fit, there is difference. It just matters if you can deal with the different to save money.

That is all.

Thats proabably what he is talking about. The inlet OD is about the same on them.

injector with o ring.. i still feel i may be getting a leak from one of them, we may have over borred them, a custom rail will sort that out of course.

it will be safer to run rich, but you will make more power running lean. even though your nowhere near lean lol get them , then re-tune the ECU for 550cc's:)
